There still may be snow on the ground and a bite to the air, but rest assured spring is around the corner (and maybe down the block a bit).
I’m looking forward, not behind which means I’m thinking of warm weather clothing, getting my legs waxed, and considering a sassy new haircut. Interestingly, my closet and contents are at the heart of all three.
In my home, my husband is relegated to a single chest of drawers. I get the entire walk-in closet for my clothes. I have contemporary work outfits, traditional work outfits, dresses, suits, out-on-the-town clothing, and Mom shirts. On top of all that, I have about 30 pair of shoes, some of which I’ve never worn.
Spring is traditionally a time for cleaning. It’s a time of renewal and rebirth. And my closet definitely needs to reflect my frame of mind this spring, not to mention it needs to lose some baggage in the form of clothes and shoes I just won’t wear anymore.
